Ciao All,
Just a quick note to thank you all for getting in touch. My office has been inundated with correspondence from Architectural Technologists, so much so that we haven’t been able to reply to you individually. I had 6 minutes debate time with Minister Hogan – I would have needed 60 to deal comprehensively with the valid points ye were making. Rather than make many of the strong technical points, which I believe have long been thrown the Minister’s way, I thought it better to focus more on the realities on the ground, the need for common sense to prevail, and the need for the Minister to get real and stop just taking the word of some people with a vested interest in the alternative. I did have a short chat with the Minister outside the Chamber afterwards, and I wouldn’t be without hope.
See below the transcript of my debate with Minister Hogan, and a video link of same.
All the Best,
Mick
